What fascinates Alice is not simply what we see, but how we see it.

The same photograph, painting, city street, or passing moment can reveal entirely different truths depending on who’s looking. Alice has spent a lifetime learning to look beyond the obvious—to discover the beauty, meaning, and human stories that often go unnoticed.

Trained in photojournalism, she spent more than twenty years in visual journalism as a photo editor and visual director. Working alongside photographers, designers, writers, and editors, she learned that the most powerful images do more than document events. They reveal character, expose truth, and invite us to ask a simple but profound question:

*What lies beneath what we see and hear?*

Growing up and building her career in China before beginning a new chapter in the United States gave Alice the rare opportunity to experience two cultures from the inside. Living between them broadened her perspective, challenged her assumptions, and deepened her appreciation for the richness and complexity of the human experience.

Alice is equally at home with images and words. Whether through a photograph or an essay, she explores the connections between art, culture, technology, and humanity. In recent years, her curiosity has naturally expanded to artificial intelligence—not simply as a technological revolution, but as another way to explore one of the defining questions of our time:
